Seventeen people including myself formed the Roundhouse partnership. Between us we manage six acres of woodland and 2.5 acres of arable land. We are managing both sites utilising sustainable agricultural & woodland practice. Thus far we have planted over 50 fruit trees, instated swales and ponds, to increase biodiversity and to improve water management. We've planted a native hedgerow, and are managing the land to reinstate native wildflowers. We also have two flourishing hives of dark honey bees.
We are currently looking for a new local active member, more details can be seen here.
It has become almost a studio for myself, of which many of my nature photos were taken. There is a huge sense of satisfaction about the physically reinstate ecosystems, to growi food whilst creating a recorded legacy.
